and ranges. For example:

CMD300 CHANNEL 1 'Selects only channel 1

CMD300 CHANNEL 1 2 5 'Selects channels 1,2 and 5

CMD300 CHANNEL 1-8 'Selects channels 1 thru 8

CMD300 CHANNEL 1-4 8 'Selects channels 1 thru 4 and 8

If more than one CyberAmp is being controlled, each will have a different Axon RS232 bus device

number (see the DEVICE command). CMD300 remembers the last device number that was used.

The parsing of the command line recognizes alpha character sequences as being distinct from numbers

and special characters, and abbreviations are recognized. Multiple commands may be entered on one

command line, and can be separated from each other by one or more spaces.

Note that most CMD300 commands have minimum abbreviations that can be used interchangeably

with the full commands. For example, the minimum abbreviation for the "STATUS" command is "S".

Likewise, most command modifiers also have minimum abbreviations. For example, the command

"STATUS DEFAULTS" could be entered as "S DEF". The minimum abbreviation for all commands

and modifiers is documented in the command reference section of this chapter.

Hence the command:

CMD300 C1G10C3-6G2

is the same as

CMD300 CHANNEL 1 GAIN 10 CHANNEL 3 - 6 GAIN 2

If CMD300 is run without any arguments then the program will display the status of the CyberAmp

and all channels. There is also an equivalent explicit "STATUS" command.
